Merchants may request temporary authorization holds on debit card purchases. The amount of the hold will decrease the availability of funds in your account. This hold is placed by the merchant and Lance is not responsible for debit card holds. The final amount will be charged to your card upon removal of the authorization hold. It is entirely dependent upon the merchant when authorization holds are released. For hotel charges, it can take up to 30 business days to release a hold on your funds.
