The articles of organization is a document that outlines the structure of your LLC and is requirement to form a LLC in many states. They may also be referred to as Certification of Organization or Certificate of Formation. It includes business information like the company name, address, member names, and the registered agent.

What is included in Articles of Organization?
The requirements for each state varies but generally, the following information is required:
- Your LLC's name
- Your LLC's address
- Purpose of LLC
- LLC effective date
- Name and address of the registered agent
- Name and signature of the organizer
