A Sole Proprietorship is an unincorporated business that is owned and run by one person where there is no legal distinction between the owner and the business. It is the most used and simplest way to start a business since you are the sole owner who is entitled to all profits and responsibilities for the business's debts, losses, and liabilities. A freelance writer is the perfect example of a sole proprietorship.
